Documentation Specialist

Our solutions help retailers, wholesalers and marketers by providing all the tools they need in order to target the right customers and grow their businesses through new and innovative ways.

The Documentation Specialist is responsible for the development, management and distribution of user documentation content about our SaaS. They will have to prepare turorials, FAQs, knowledge base articles, screencasts / videos, and any other suitable content that will assist and guide our users. The technical content and documentation is part of the unique user experience that we want to provide for our customers, throughout our SaaS with content embedded onto the UI but also available in our dedicated documentation / help center.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company’s tone and mission. You write clean, concise, easy to understand, well-polished copies.
  • Translate complex technology concepts into appropriate content for our customers in order to assist them in technical tasks and processes of our SaaS.
  • Responsible for the planning of content strategies and the structure for our documentation / help center.
  • Develop story flow, scripts and content for videos such as how-to and feature explanation videos
  • Collaborate and build close relationships with many cross-functional internal teams

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Skilled in technical writing, product documentation and software products
  • Excellent written (online and print) and verbal communication, researching, interviewing and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in cloud services environments and in the tech world
  • Demonstrated ability to convert technical and strategy information into campaigns, stories and use cases
  • Experience reviewing existing systems and processes from the ground up to improve the UX.
  • Experience with technical documentation writing
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or past experience in IT or technical writing roles
  • Past experience in writing manuals, user-guides, FAQs etc.
  • Experience in software localization and/or software testing will be considered a plus
